"Support our efforts as we serve Chicago's youth through Barber community outreach programs".
Y.N.G (Young And Gifted) and Kenny Mac's Barbershop has partnered together to annually host "Barber Community Outreach" events such as "Back to School Supply Drives" & "Cuts for Reads" in August every year! Licensed Professional Master Barbers will give kids K-12th grade free haircuts with free book bags filled with school supplies. Kids must read a book of choice to their parent or guardian . Barbers and barbershops are purveyors of confidence in the community playing a critical role in helping people to look and feel their best! We facilitate the importance of overall health and encouraging people to strive higher for themselves, their families and community!
Young & Gifted Scholarship Fund:
We award scholarship covering students tuition and barber tools for Chicago's youth who are interested in becoming Barber Entrepreneurs.
Our Ask:
We need resources and funding (grants and or donations) to help support our efforts and events. All donations are tax-deductable. We are an 501C3 organization.
